Open Position – Substitute Assistant Librarian

Do you love helping people? Are your customer service skills outstanding? Does spending your workday surrounded by books in a historic library setting appeal to you?

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: providing excellent customer service while working on library tasks at the circulation desk; assisting patrons; assisting with library organization and book accession; and helping to make library programs and events successful.

Requirements:

  • At least six months of customer service or retail experience
  • Computer/tech fluency
  • Flexibility to work mornings and evenings, Monday through Saturday
  • Ability to work in both Idaho Springs and Georgetown

This is a part-time, on-call position and will entail approximately 10 – 20 hours per week. The pay range for this position is $15.50 – $20.00. Benefits include: optional deferred compensation, paid sick leave, 16 hours of emergency PTO, Clear Creek Rec Center free admission, and shared corporate ski passes.
