Clear Creek County Library District is committed to supporting our local educators and learners. We have a range of awesome resources available for you and your students, including:

Booklist Bag
Send us a list of titles and authors you’d like to check out, and we’ll prepare a Booklist Bag available for library pickup or direct delivery to your school’s doorstep. Complete the form here.

Discovery Box
Tell us your lesson plan/unit subject, and our librarians will curate a selection of books (and perhaps other fun surprises!) relating to your curriculum. Would you like specific titles that we don’t currently have in our collection? Let us know – we’re always seeking suggestions for titles to develop our collection. Complete form here.

Storytimes
Schedule a storytime with our Programs Coordinator. These can be recurring weekly or monthly storytimes, or just a special visit here and there – whatever best supports your class! Contact holly@cccld.org.

Book Clubs
We are pleased to offer Beastly Dreadfuls Book Club for 5th and 6th grades, featuring book chats and engaging, educational activities with the author of The League of Beastly Dreadfuls. We hope to add book groups for additional grade levels- get in touch with us if a collaborative book group interests you!

Craft Sessions
We’d love to visit your classroom for a craft session! Let’s collaborate on a craft to support your lesson plan. The library will provide the supplies!

Reading Access & Support
Have your students discover their next favorite book by browsing our kid and teen sites. Patrons can check out materials for library pickup.

BookFlix

Thematically paired fiction and nonfiction titles are designed to bridge learning-to-read and reading-to-learn. Animated classic storybooks introduce early learners to the delights of reading while sparking curiosity, creating a natural springboard into the paired nonfiction text for deeper discovery.

Sora

The student reading app enables students of the Clear Creek School District to easily access and borrow ebooks and audiobooks from the Clear Creek County Library District, as well as from the school. Click here for easy step-by-step instructions.

Colorado & Western History
Find unique information about local historical figures in our Colorful Coloradans Biographies or request a Time Capsule Box (images, manuscripts, historic newspapers, etc.) of materials. Contact us at archives@cccld.org

Professional Development
Book librarians for your next staff meeting or workshop. We can provide an overview of educator services or present on a custom topic. Areas of expertise include early learning, makerspaces, technology, children’s and teen literature, and research instruction. Contact director@cccld.org to tell us about your training needs.
