Georgetown Cultural Arts (in collaboration with Think 360 Arts for Learning, Georgetown Community School, and Clear Creek County Library District) is launching 1874 School Day, an inaugural celebration of arts, culture, and history. Join us at the Georgetown Heritage Center for a free community celebration and participate in a collaborative mural project with Teaching Artist Tony Ortega (must register for mural participation in advance). Experience Living in the Classroom with Veronica Elliott, see a collection of historic short films, visit Clear Creek Library District’s Local History Archives, and dress up for a keepsake image from Silver Queen Walking Tour’s Victorian Photobooth.

We welcome you to bring a favorite family recipe (potluck style) to share! For potluck details, please contact Holly Grant at (918) 791-5837 or holly@cccld.org.

Sign up for painting with Teaching Artist Tony Ortega (4th Graders and older are welcome to participate! Participants under 16 must have adult supervision. Adults are more than welcome to participate too! Participating adults must also sign up for a time slot.)
