We love our volunteers! We have several opportunities to lend a helping hand at the library. Contact Cameron at cameron@cccld.org for more information or if you would like information on fulfilling community service requirements.
Volunteer tutors help students of all ages with their homework, reading, or other school activities from 3:30-5 pm on Wednesdays at the Idaho Springs Public Library.
Members of the Friends of the Libraries can volunteer to help at Friends events, with book sales, or with library tasks.

There’s always something fun going on at the library and we invite you to be a part of it! You can fulfill your volunteer requirements by helping with the Summer Reading Program and other special events, by serving on the Teen Advisory Board, organizing a book club or helping with general library work.
Do you have an interest in library work? Do you love to read? Do you enjoy helping others? Join our library team via the high school work-study program. Work study “interns” take on special projects and are able to learn more about what goes on behind the scenes at the library.
