The Clear Creek County Library District encourages anyone interested to begin collecting material to contribute to a new digital archive that will document, in real time, our perspectives, thoughts, and experiences on how COVID-19 is affecting our communities.

Examples of material include: photographs of business signs or roads; virtual interviews with those in your community; your own written thoughts on this historical event; or other materials you feel are significant.

Remember, please follow all orders and recommendations in place and do not put yourself in any risk of contracting COVID-19!

To donate material of your creation (photographs, diaries, etc.), you will need to submit a donation form or use the following statement in your email submission to archives@cccld.org:

“I/we am/are donating the attached documents to the Clear Creek County Library District for the COVID-19 Community Archive. I/we give the library full use and rights to this piece and I/we understand that these documents will be accessible to the public.”

For interviews with others, you AND the interviewee will need to sign a waiver or you BOTH need to email the library at archives@cccld.org the following statement:

“I/we am/are donating an oral history interview of [interviewee], conducted by [interviewer] on [date], to the Clear Creek County Library District for the COVID-19 Community Archive. I/we give the library full use and rights to this piece and I/we understand that this interview will be accessible to the public.”

Alternatively, the forms below can be physically signed and submitted physically or digitally (a good photo or a scan) with the rest of the material. Please note that by signing these forms, you are agreeing to transfer rights to the Clear Creek County Library District so that the items may be open and available for use and research by anyone. Much of the digital material that we accept for this collection will be housed and accessible on our online archival repository.
